With hundreds of different activities (and counting) happening over three days – many concurrently – there are literally hundreds of thousands of unique journeys through Upswell Chicago. That might sound overwhelming, but it’s actually pretty easy to navigate!

We have a few tips for orienting yourself to this dynamic (and still growing!) Upswell lineup that will help you find the activities and speakers that most interest you, so you can make the most of your time in Chicago.

Here are the three best ways to map your Upswell experience:

• By activity types
  From quick talks to hands-on demonstrations, interactive workshops to offsite community dinners, Upswell’s 13 activity types, each with a different format, let you tailor the experience you want. • By themes
  All those different activities we just mentioned are also carefully organized into eight broad themes, all of which mirror real-life themes that really matter when we’re talking about changing the world. You can use your time at Upswell to focus on a single one or explore different activities across all eight. • By speakers
  You’ll have the opportunity to hear from 200+ luminaries in Chicago (and spend time with them, too!). Upswell Chicago’s lineup of presenters and speakers represent a wide range of missions, approaches, and perspectives on changing the world. On the Main Stage and Spotlight Stage, from workshops to the Public Square, you’ll find inspiration everywhere you go.

With Upswell Chicago just a month away, it’s a perfect time to start planning your Upswell experience. Of course, you can always leave yourself room for spontaneity – you’ll be with lots of other changemakers, and there are bound to be surprises and serendipitous run-ins that you’ll want to fully lean into.
