Upswell Lab / Los Angeles

February 27, 2018 | 10:00am – 12:00pm PT
The Center at Cathedral Plaza, Los Angeles, CA

What should the nation’s changemakers know about Los Angeles?

This lab is about getting to know Los Angeles, its diverse communities, and you. What are the greatest assets and successes in LA’s social good space? How about the challenges?

First, we’ll share with you the basics of human-centered design. Then, together, we’ll use that approach to explore the issues that are core to LA’s identity and begin testing ways to infuse those issues into Upswell.

Poverty, immigration, inequality, climate change, education, race equity…and what else?

1,500 changemakers are coming to LA in November. This lab is your invitation to roll up your sleeves and help us create an experience that matters.
