FAQ

Upswell 2018 takes place in Los Angeles, CA, from November 14-16. When you’re not out exploring LA’s diverse communities, home base for Upswell is the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, located at 900 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90017 [view map].

Some meals are included each day with your registration. There are also a number of add-on experiences that include meals. Please visit our schedule page for more information.

Yes! We use the word “exhibit” because it’s familiar. But if you partner with Upswell, you can expect a whole lot more than you might be used to. Click here for more details.

Upswell registration follows a progressive pricing model, so the sooner you register, the lower the rate. The early bird rate of $600 sold out and Standard Admission is currently $800. The rate increases to full price at $1000 after September 12, so register soon!

If you need to make any changes to your registration record or transfer your registration to another individual, you can update your information at any time using your e-mail and the registrantID or confirmation code you received when you first registered. To update your registration, please click here.

We know schedules are hectic and you might only be available to join one day and a colleague might only be available the next. Since registrations customized for each changemaker, we ask that registrations not be shared.

All cancellation notices must be received in writing by September 7, 2018 via email at info@upswell.org. Conference registration cancellations received on or before September 7th are eligible for a refund less a $100 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for requests received after September 7th. For more information, please view our cancellation and refund policy here.

Group codes are entered on the first page of registration, while discount codes are entered at the end of the end of the registration process. If you receive an error message when entering a group code, please continue with the process and watch for the “discount code” box on the final page. Codes may not be applied retroactively; most are valid only with current Standard Admission rates.

Yes! If you are an IS member, you receive a $50 discount off Standard Admission at Upswell. To receive the discount, enter MEMFULL in the “group code” when selecting your registration.
