Join us for a unique and interactive experience from inside a music ensemble. Upswell participants will sit side-by-side with students in an active band rehearsal; observing and discussing the process of learning involving discipline, practice and risk-taking, and how it all relates to goals for student success and preparation for college and career-readiness. Beyond the intrinsic value of music to cultures worldwide, an education that includes music has benefits that transcend the musical domain.
