Location: Public Square Outside Lone Star Ballroom (2nd floor, Convention)

Spotlight

Café Momentum brings levity to some of the most challenging conversations as it takes kids out of jail and teaches them to play with knives and fire. But, levity aside, the program commits to teaching life, social, and employment skills to Dallas’ most at-risk youth, and has been a hit with everyone from philanthropists and dinner-goers to the young people participating in the program. This session will cover how Café Momentum’s paid internship model provides a transformative experience for justice-involved youth to help them achieve their full potential.
