Spark Talk

Dallas, like many fast-growing communities across the country, has an urgent need to provide low-cost, high-quality childcare and early childhood learning opportunities. Without new approaches, existing inequities in the early childhood space will continue to compound. In this conversation, you will hear from the student perspective how Dallas College is breaking down barriers for students to make higher education accessible. With the recent launch of an innovative early childhood baccalaureate program, Dallas College is working across boundaries with local school districts, federal grants and private philanthropy to train hundreds of new early childhood educators a year and give every child in every community the early childhood care and learning experiences they need.
