Ajjit Narayanan is a Data Science Analyst at the Urban Institute, where he works with researchers to improve access to data, analytic tools, and innovative research methods. Ajjit uses and advises on tools such as machine learning, big data platforms, geospatial analysis, and data visualization methods to relevant public policy issues. He also builds open source data and mapping tools for researchers and policymakers. He holds a BA in Urban Studies and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and has a lab mix that takes up way too much his time.

Ajjit is representing Urban Institute, a finalist in the 2019 Innovate for Good Challenge, as an organization applying new I.T. in the artificial intelligence category.
