Asma Uddin is the founding editor-in-chief of altMuslimah, an online news outlet that covers topics on gender and Islam. She is a senior scholar at the Freedom Forum Institute and a visiting scholar at Brigham Young University. Previously, Uddin served as an attorney with Becket, a nonprofit law firm specializing in international religious freedom cases, and as director of strategy for the Center for Islam and Religious Freedom.
