Bio
Bianca Myrick is a mother, daughter, sister, and connector of people and resources. She is the founder and executive director of Pretty Purposed, a non-profit that inspires communities to empower young women and girls. As a former educator, Bianca saw a need in her community to cultivate joyful spaces for girls, propelling her to start Pretty Purposed, which now supports 175 girls across multiple sites. The Style Weekly Top 40 Under 40 (2023) recipient is also executive director of the Virginia Association for Environmental Education. Through consulting and Mentor Virginia, Bianca supports organizations in program development. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and Virginia State University, where she is also an adjunct professor. Additionally, she dedicates her time as a founding board member and President of Collective 365, a trust based grant- making entity that has freely moved $55,000 in funding to Black and Brown led entities and individuals since June of 2020.
