Jesse Rattan, RN, MPH, has two decades of leading, managing, and supporting sexual, reproductive and maternal health programs in Asia and Africa. Currently she is the director of the Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights team which supports, guides and learns from SRHR programs around the CARE world. Before this role she was the director of a large SRH project that unlocked access to contraception and post-abortion care in Chad, DRC, Mali, Nigeria and other conflict affected countries. She also recently led an initiative to measure and strengthen CARE’s organizational culture. She started her career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Central African Republic.
Jesse is representing CARE, a finalist in the 2019 Innovate for Good Challenge, as an organization applying new I.T. in the artificial intelligence category.
