Marie LeBlanc is the director of design at Independent Sector. In this role, Marie leads program and product design and design capacity building. Marie previously served as a program manager for IS’ leadership and ethics programs. Prior, Marie was the community partnerships coordinator at the Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington. Marie is an active volunteer and has worked with organizations in DC like the Washington English Center, Free Minds Book Club, and the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Washington, DC (YNPNdc). Marie has a bachelor’s degree in international affairs, French, and Spanish from the Florida State University and a master’s degree in development studies from the London School of Economics. She lives in Washington, DC.
