Bio

Raymond Foxworth serves as vice president for First Nations Development Institute (First Nations) in Longmont, Colorado. First Nations is a 39-year-old Native American-led nonprofit organization supporting asset-based development in Native American communities across the U.S.

Raymond holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he studied issues of inequality in indigenous communities in the U.S. and Latin America. Raymond is a citizen of the Navajo Nation and his family is from Tuba City, Arizona. Raymond is a 2015 alumnus of Independent Sector’s American Express NGen Fellows program.
