Bio

Scott Keoni Shigeoka is a storyteller, designer and impact investor focused on bridging social and political divisions in the United States. As a Bridging Differences Fellow with the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley, where he’s sharing research-backed practices that help us better understand and get along with one another to elected officials, community leaders, and other practitioners. He’s also on a road trip across the country meeting people with different perspectives than him, which is being turned into a web series, a forthcoming book, and a column on a national magazine. Prior to this trip, he was a leader at the design firm IDEO, a writer with The Washington Post and co-founded two social enterprises in Europe and the United States.
