Shantae is a United States Air Force Veteran and small business owner who began her journey at Wells Fargo ten years ago. She has been recognized both internally and externally for her initiative to serve people and achieve progress through strategic skill building, agile methodologies, and Human Resource (HR)/Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Consulting expertise.

Today, Shantae is a DE&I Leader managing a strategic investment portfolio focused on higher education diverse scholarships and skills-based hiring initiatives. She has successfully enhanced and implemented comprehensive strategies that provide diverse students and consumers access to resources, scholarships, mentoring, career and leadership development and financial wellness training.

She has a proven track record of collaborating with executive leadership teams to develop human capital strategies, programs, and policies that address unconscious bias, building cultural competency, and driving sustainable change.

With her exceptional communication skills, authentic, and empathetic leadership style, Shantae has effectively engaged employees at all levels, fostering open dialogue and creating safe spaces for discussions on difficult topics. She understands the importance of intersectionality and is committed to ensuring that diverse perspectives are heard and valued.
