Stephanie Piccirilli is the senior vice president of mission engagement & innovation at Ignite. She leads the agency’s engagement and resource strategies. Ignite helps over 500 youth, 14-26 – overcoming homelessness and poverty – realize the spark inside of them to create sustainable futures filled with promise. Strengthening the community through trauma-informed outreach, supportive housing, policy work and long-term career & financial planning, youth are able to be defined by their potential, not their circumstances. Prior to joining Ignite, Stephanie served on the executive team at Cara Chicago, leading programming and public housing research and launching Cleanslate, Cara’s first social enterprise brand. Stephanie is also the co-founder of Bright Endeavors, a Chicago social enterprise creating opportunities for young women and moms unstably housed. Leading up to her 20 years of experience in the social impact sector, Stephanie spent 6 years in the hospitality industry leading operations, sales, training and revenue management.
