Experience
Before joining CCL, Andrea (Andi) was the Deputy Director of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF)-funded Substance Abuse Policy Research program (SAPRP). This $66 million, 15-year flagship national program sought to stimulate and fund research on a variety of issues related to drug, alcohol, and tobacco policy. Impacts of the program included new policies reducing substance use, strengthening of existing policies, and leveraging over $150,000,000 in additional funding for this work.
In her role as a Research Associate in the Department of Public Health Sciences, Section on Social Sciences and Health Policy at Wake Forest University School of Medicine she designed and contributed to many research projects, including the national evaluation of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws Program, Spit Tobacco Evaluation, and the National Evaluation of the Free to Grow Program.
She served as the Deputy Director of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation funded Executive Nurse Fellows program. This world-class leadership development program enhanced the effectiveness of nurse leaders to impact health and health care in the United States.

Current Role
Andi Williams is the Director of the Health Sector Portfolio at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL)®. In this role she designs and delivers transformational leadership development experiences to leaders at every level, across every sector, with particular focus on health leaders. She collaborates with internal and external partners to meet the unique needs of nonprofit and government health organizations. Andi and her team work with a wide range of organizations and funders to create top-quality leadership development that leads to greater organizational success and impact. Current clients include the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Colorado Health Foundation, and many others.

Educational Background
Andi earned a BA in Economics with a focus on health economics and a MAEd in Counseling, both from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.

Professional Affiliations
Andi has presented numerous times at the American Public Health Association (APHA) and the American Evaluation Association national conferences. She is currently a member of APHA. Andi is also working toward her certification as a meditation teacher.
