Bio
Chelsea Switzer (she/her) is a queer femme living with Generalized Anxiety Disorder in Center City, Philadelphia. As Mazzoni Center’s Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer, Chelsea is responsible for achieving the development and fundraising goals of Philly’s largest LGBTQ+ nonprofit. An enthusiastic fundraising and business development professional, Chelsea combines versatile life experience and over two decades of success leading on-time, within budget delivery of high stakes initiatives for diverse non- and for-profit organizations.
Her background includes eight years of experience as a sales and event manager in Manhattan, a wedding planner, and a preschool teacher. She holds a bachelor’s in philosophy and French from Tufts University and a master’s in medical Ethics and Health Policy from the University of Pennsylvania where her thesis focused on ethics policies at the Olympic Games and their impact on trans and intersex athletes.
