Bio
Cathy Lee serves as the Director of Education and Career Success at United Way of Metropolitan Dallas where she oversees the organization’s portfolio of education grants, education initiatives, and Digital Bridges program. She leads the development and implementation of integrated strategies to improve educational attainment while managing grantmaking and partnership efforts to support new and existing programs. Her experience in education began in the classroom as a high school teacher where she saw the importance of community involvement to support students and families. Since then, she has worked across schools in Philadelphia, Boston, and Dallas, in both public and charter school spaces, as well as in high school administration and the nonprofit sector. She received her B.A. at the College of William and Mary and her Ed.M. at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
